Photo: Don Cameron, the Voice of the Rangers for over 50 years, at his "second" home in the broadcast booth at Kitchener Auditorium. He was known for Scotish roots and arriving at the arena several hours before game time. At KSA's Volunteer of the Year Dinner (Nov. 15, 2015), he served not only as the MC but also the event's guest speaker. During the evening's proceedings, Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic presented Don with a special recognition award from the City for his community involvement and positive influence -- well beyond his broadcasting role. KSA recognized Don in 2009 as KSA's Volunteer of the Year for his extensive involvement in the sporting community. Don was a true gentleman.
