In 2006 KSA contributed $25,000 to the Kitchener & Waterloo Community Foundation to open the Kitchener Sports Association (KSA) Legacy Fund. 

       The establishment of the KSA Fund should ensure the KSA has the financial capability to provide ongoing financial support to the local minor sport groups and special KSA projects.

        Donations to this fund by the general public are welcome and are tax deductible through receipts issued by the K&W Foundation.  As of December 31, 2004, The Foundation had over $43 million in assets and had issued grants of $2,469,519 in 2004.

      The Kitchener Sports Association appreciates any and all support.  As a registered Non-Profit Organization, rather than an actual charity as the K&W Foundation is, the KSA is unable to give receipts acceptable to the tax department as charitable donations.  For donations made through the Foundation on behalf of the KSA, please indicate to the Foundation that you wish your donation directed to the KSA Legacy Fund.
